Hi
Thinking of buying a new set of wheels for the winther, I always loved the Alpina ones...
What do you think of them on an M3?
Regards,
///Alex

i like alpina wheels, but they dont look right to me on an e36. They look to "classy" or "upscale" for the e36 style.

theyd be awesome with a nice lip get em in a 5 series offset and roll the fenders, thatd look awesome
They're not my cup o' tea, but if you like them, do it!
i like the LTW's on your car MUCH better

hey alex !
I do love alpina wheels but I have to say your current LTWs look like pure sex on your car ! If I were you I'd keep them !
btw, I don't know if you've heard of Bmwfans, c'est un nouveau forum francophone très sympa, jettes y un oeil à l'occasion

now THOSE are nice...deep dish own your LIFE bwahaha...but...regular alpinas = teh sucks
The picture you posted of the daytona M w/ alpinas looks akward b/c they need spacers to move them closer to the fender. They seem sunk-in, especially on the front, they need to be flush w/ the fender in order to look right. I've always thought alpina rims gave a certain class to the e36 style, mounting them on an M3 is no different...and I even like them better than the LTWs (which are slowly becoming played out IMO).
I like them. But for me they only work on older E28 and E30 bodies. Try some replica M parrals (spelling I know).
I have oil in my blood; that is my dedication level to cars.

No, those Alpinas are 5 series off set so wheel arches are rolled that's why they look different....

werd one of the best wheels ever for both e30 and e36
not really i have rolled fenders and rims from a 5 series, and if you roll em right, theres no contact at all, no problem hitting corners for me!Originally Posted by MIMI1
