    Speedometer issue

    SO i was driving home today and my speedometer just dropped to the peg then bounced halfway back up to speed, then down and did this a few times then settled back at my proper speed. Then was fine for a while then did it again. What would be causing this?

    My guess would be a faulty speed sensor
    2004 Lexus LX470
