    M3 front wheel bearings

    Hi everyone,

I know this subject must have been covered before but does anyone
have a diy for front wheel bearing replacement (with pictures)? I have
the Bentley manual but I am also looking for something with more
    graphics. Thanks in advance.

Quick tip: I tried the "use the wheel as a slide hammer" approach, but my inner races were still stuck. I bought a "valve spring compressor" at Sears and it worked really well for pulling off the inner race.

Just did control arms, brakes, and wheel bearings in one shot. Happy to have it back on the road.

ETK shows a different part no than the one original poser linked to at bimmerparts in the diy thread he posted in March.
    31 22 6 757 024 vs 31 22 1 468 926

All E36's take the same bearing assy, yet Bav auto excludes the M3 in their listing.
I will call the dealer tomorrow and see if they have superseded the part no.
