The local dealerships are too far and too expensive....
It's a little bit of a ride from Westport, but AutoTechnic (www.autotechnic.net) in New Milford is very good, and fairly inexpensive. I've been dealing with them for a while now, both for purchasing vehicles, parts, as well as for service.

Check out Speed Sport in Norwalk, they are primarily Porsche but are getting into BMW. Ask for Mitch and tell him Alex de Francisco referred you. They do incredible work there, they did my BBK conversion.
I've used Imported Cars of Stamford a few times. They're good, and the owner George is a nice guy, and fair with pricing. He specializes in Forced Induction stuff, but deals plenty with NA stuff, lots of performance stuff... He's an AA distributor...
Tell him Chris (98 black M3) sent you if you call...203-323-3486
Good luck!
