I wonder it there is a way to find out how many ti owners are registered in the forum.
It would be interesting to see the statistics for every model BMW.

Checking in....
-Gratuitous ass shot alert!!!-
You are bastard children. Your car has some of the body of an E36, some of the chassis of an E30; and despite the fact the Z3 is the same they still dont get cherished like the Z-cars.
We would claim you if the E36'ers got to snooty.
LOL
I love my ti...even though the design for the car is a little strange...but it is a GREAT daily driver

right here i have a ti. I really do enjoy driving the car. it is like driving a go-kart. The bad thing is that I get clowned alot by my friends for driving a car with no butt.
Got a question, I have 17" rims on my car. I was thinking about taking the spare tire off my car for weight purpose. If something would happen and I need a spare tire the Donut wouldnt work on my car right with the rims?? Can someone answer that for me.
Thanks in advance..
BMW NOT JUST A CAR BUT A WAY OF LIFE.
I'm not quite ulTImate just yet, but working on it. Here's the car fresh from M5 passing at Sears Point:
Southern Bimmer:
The donut will get you home but you dont want to do much more than that with it. It is probly a different diameter than you wheels so it will affect the traction control. You can use the spare, just not for a long time and make sure you turn off the traction control.

Kos-motate139: Are you runnin on the M44? Looks like your doin OK with that motor. I wanted to ask you what kind of sways you got. I need to get some soon. I want to see that car in person someday. I love to see that black ti on the track!!!!

Hehe -- still running the 135+K M42. It's got intake / chip / exhaust, heck I might be putting a 110 hp to the ground, does hang in the turns very nicely though. I'm still on stock (ti sport) anti-sway bars with Ground Control Coilovers 375f/550r. It doesn't really need anti-sways as much with these stiffer springs, but I may re-evaluate that after some fatter stickier tires next time around. I think they would help if I had to do more slaloms, but that's not been a huge problem. I added the X-brace which did change some things that I've mostly compensated with driving style and tire pressures.Originally posted by mini///m3

Anyway, it's the track & autocross car, pretty dialed in now with settings for each. :atom
Hello all,
I'm 41, live in Toronto, and have owned a bright red '95 Sport since new. It's got 190,000 kms (118,000 miles), stills runs great, it needs paint. It's got Eibach springs, struts, shocks, and front strut brace, an X brace, BAS slotted brake rotors, stainless brake lines, Pagid pads, Bridgestone Potenzas (Blizzaks in the winter), a Conforti chip, Supersprint exhaust, a K&N filter in a modified airbox, BAS plug wires, and PIAA Superwhite low beams.
All go, no show.
im lookin foward 2 gettin my Ti pretty soon...been wanting that car for about 4 years now...i love it
hatchbacks rule
hatchback + bmw = perfection
Hey, I am also from Toronto. How come you never come out to BMWCC auto-crosses if your car is "all go"?

When I got the car I was thinking of joining the BMWCC. A pal asked 'Why would you join a club where you've got the cheapest car?' Mostly just never got around to it.
Maybe next spring.
You should definitely try it. The next auto-cross is on Nov 17th.
Costs 15CAD but you have to be a member of the club (57CAD per year). Lots of fun.
Serge
PS If you are not on www.318ti.net list, you should definitely join. The best Inet resource on ti's.
