ok my build date is in 1991 and i want to get a nice suspension for under 900... anyone got any ideas...? i was looking on understeer at the before 1992 suspension conversion mounts.

There are a select few kits out there for the 91-5/92 325's, but there aren't many. You're basically going to need the conversion kit from understeer.
After you get the kit, then you basically can use any 3 series suspension kit. A lot of people recommend Bilstein Sports and H&R springs, or Eibach pro kit. You should be able to go that route for less than 900 total. Understeer has a Sachs kit for $700 I think which is comperable to M3 suspension.
'92 E36 non-Vanos. 140K miles, too many original parts, on blocks in my garage.
'01 E46, 110K, purchased Aug 2010, so far so good.
either the understeer upgrade, OR from what i read is that the 95 m3 suspension fits out pre 6/92
