S52 Forged Pistons

Does any company make forged pistons for the stock 86.415mm s52 bore? Or is boring the cylinders out to 86.5mm my only option? Thanks

You can have custom pistons made that, with the added clearance needed for forged, could fit a stock bore. I used the 86.5 or 86.6 off the shelf pistons and started with an M52 block.

i don't think the stock bore is 86.415mm, there are stock 86.365mm, 86.415mm and 86.565mm pistons presumably setup for 0.035mm clearance thus 86.4, 86.45 and 86.6mm bores.

you just need to order them so they have the clearance as per piston manufacturer once rigid honed straight and round i would err on the bigger side to ensure they clean up perfect
