    Early BBS Front Spoiler

I’m having a problem determining what my OEM BBS front air damn is made of.
Until I know exactly I cannot repair the cracks in it. The only thing I DO know is that it is not pure plastic. I took it too a plastics welder and he said it cannot be welded since it also has some composites in it. Until I know for sure I cannot get the epoxy either so……..

Who here has an early BBS spoiler…..mine is on a ’78…and knows what it is made of??? I have also been told that there should be an identifier stamped/molded somewhere I assume on the inside but mine does not. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks!!!

I had two. The orginal one, and a new old one.
So my new one was found at a ware house and never used.
I replaced my orginal one that had been scraped when my 323i was on a transport trunk
abd scraped on the way off it.

The BBS spoiler can be patched with composite resin.
Any body shop should be able to do this.

This guy is offering a some free parts including a bbs spoiler.

Well I called BBS dealer in Florida who then contacted the plant in Germany.
It took a week but they responded saying that is was made of polyurethane. I have some Loctite 330 which I think will work for this....
