Long before both you and I built our prototypes at least one or two other people had prototype Twin Screws running on the E36 6 cyl.

As far as I have been able to surmizzle Eurosport is the first to have production Twin Screw superchargers running in the BMW 6cyl cars. We have been shipping production kits for almost a year now and have them running in the E36 M3 3.0, M3 3.2L, 328i, Mroadster and MCoupe 3.2L.

If your M3 doesn’t have 3 pedals and 2 doors, I would really consider contacting BMW to confirm the authenticity of your incorrectly badged mid-sized family sedan.

THis is awesome. I love reading about this kind of stuff. If I ever went F/I it would be Screw baby . Due you still plan to bore the Aluminum 2.8 out to 3.0? BTW- Megatron do you have any pics of your car and of the Twin Screw on your car? Maybe also installation?

Dammit, now I have to find an E36 with under 75K thats a sedan.

I am wagering that a twinscrewed S52 is probably faster than a more or less stock E39 M5. Guesses?

E36 is much much lighter. The M5 is only better in the torque catagory, with about 20 more ft/lbs.

I can double check for you in case.

FWIW, Josh installed mine 2+ years ago when I had 48,000 miles on car. Hit 82,000 two weekends ago while on track at Mid-Ohio.

    Neil,

Do you go through guibos quickly as well or do you have a different solution due to the (early) torque the TS produces?

If you have an E36 M3 I believe you want the M coupe S54 radiator (out of a 2001 M coupe) not the E46 M3 rad. the M coupe would be the perfect swap. Do a search you see. Love that TS.

Just view guibos as a regular wear item (like brake pads). I inspect it often and replace it annually. BTW, you want the guibo to be the weak link, so you don't damage far more expensive peices!

Is that a direct bolt-in? Is it larger than the fuidyne (spelling)?

It's direct bolt in. No problems at all. It even has tabs so you can retrofit a S54 oil cooler than came with the '01-'02 M Coupe/Roadster (but you would need an oil cooler adapter or just go with the S54 Oil filter housing).
