Curious if anyone in here knows, does the LTW wing mount up to the same holes as the oem spoiler?

    - 98 m3, techno/anthrazit cloth, 124k and officially worthless - 89 m3, alpine/black 143k and officially old - 2000 323it, tiag/grey, 169k and officially boring

I'm intrigued how the holes came out further forward. Because I installed an LTW spoiler and had to hack away at the inside of the trunk in order to get to the holes.

Can I get a diy for that LTW install?
    Wait found it.
    1.Buy shotgun
2.Shoot trunk point blank on the inside repeatedly
    3.Screw in spoiler

The LTW wing doesn't use the same holes. I had the OEM m3 wing on my car and took it off and added the LTW. The holes from the OEM wing get covered up though.

The guy above who hacked out his trunk...that's not necessary. I simply used a 1 inch bi-metal hole saw and cut out a hole to gain access to bolt it in.

Im totally confused as to where everything goes and plugs in. I got 4 screws, and 4 plastic tabs. Very strange.

    That was a little rough.

This is the install kit for the GT wings - not the standard factory wing which was discontinued.

It's not NLA. ECS just can't get it because certain parts are limited from American dealers.

Since they can order it from Schmiedmann for 79.99 chances are pretty slim. When dealing with missing NLA parts (not to mention THE defining part) from a 120k car, it costs money to get it.

EAG did not buy the new Lightweight wing I had. Someone in Florida did. He had plans to buy a Lightweight but that fell through. He also bought it without the new risers and without the new OE gurney flap set.

Just had my parts department run the part number. BMW NA dealers are unable to get it this kit.

That's not entirely true. Motorsport certified dealers can.
