Yes, Should look good.
No.
So what do you guys think??? I made a poll, also let me know of who sells them.
Flag colors would be BLACK and not ///M colors

I think these look cheesy on anything that didn't have one from factory.

It's not like I make the rules, but I only excused the 1995 M3 LTW for it because it was mostly intended to be used for racing. Most race cars seem to have lots of vinyl anyway, so what's one more piece? I also agree that it helps significantly if the M colors aren't used. I've seen grey on silver cars before that I didn't think looked hideous. But it’s just my personal preference. I think BMW car generally project an image of sophistication, and that’s just not reflected by vinyl graphics; might as well stick an aluminum wing on the trunk too.
BTW, here’s a pic of one at the rogue engineering site:

Isn't there a new race car being built by BMW right now? I think it was based on the Z4 coupe. I wonder if it will have the motorsport flag.
Edit: found the car I was talking about. I think it's pretty sexy with the new F1 looking colors.

Yeah, it definitely shouldn't have the M colors. Just black combined with the car's color (well, if you have a silver one)

^ M3conversion, that thing is hideous. That's almost ban-worthy.
MBEN, I think your car would look good with the flag. The only picture of your car that I've seen is in your sig, but with the euro lights and the mono-chromatic look, I think a black flag would look good.

It really comes down to personal preference. I wouldn't put a motorsport flag on my car simply because I would rather avoid such questions as "Why is there a motorsport flag on your car if it's not an m?". If you decide to get the flag, don't forget to post pictures.

Isint the M with the wing the SIAS sm car. pretty dang sure it is, after seeing that car in action who cars if the wing is in the upper atmosphere the thing does fly afterall.
Even though there has been some discussion in the scca about the wing rule in SM
Do whatever you want. Just be prepared for the consequences.
