I have just bought a 523I SE, and in the last three weeks when ever I drive at low speeds the steering wheel creaks like its hitting something or something is worn/rubbing, its not contant and comes and goes.
I have taken the car back to the garage where I bought it as he has given me 6 months warranty, typically when I took it back to the garage where I bought it, no creaking at all, smooth as butter

If anyone has any other suggestions it really would be most appreciated, as the car is pleasure to drive and this creaking is getting quite annoying to say the least.

You replies are looked forward to

I recently had a steering noise issue on my E39 540 and some E34 guys suggested the site as a fix. my problem actually ended up being the byproduct of a crappy stereo install, which was making some wiring rub against the steering column.
