Which paint color for my Spec E30 car?

Thanks to Jack M. of RPM Photography for the photoshop work. I'm having my car painted soon and I am trying to decide which color. I have narrowed it down to 3 color choices. Two are BMW colors: Leguna Seca Blue and Techno Violet and the other is Ford GT orange.

At this time I like the Ford GT orange and my second choice is Techno. Maybe I can do orange with two wide racing stripes down the center in Techno. The color matches aren't perfect but pretty close. Note that the model e30 is not mine, just a picture that I stole from Roadfly. What do you guys think?

edit: I found a picture of the Jagermeister e30. This might be the one. Its a true BMW color from the early 70's.

Did you mean to post a link to the pictures?

My vote goes to techno Violet, I thought it looked good on the E30.

Yeah, I'm a little clumbsy with posting links and pics. I had to resize them to 150kb so they would fit. I am posting now.

I was going to say go with the violet but then I saw the pic above me and I think if it came out like thta I would go orange. I love the hood on the car, kinda reminds me of a WRX hood. Still I really like it. Hmmmmm, where can I get one???

Honestly, from the pics you posted I didn't like any of the colors especially the orange. I don't know if it was just the pics or what but the e30 M CarreraBoy posted is amazing. If the orange is similar to that, go for the orange. If it looks like the picture you posted go for Laguna Seca or Techno violet. I can't decide if I like the LSB or the Techno better, though. I think they would both look great.

Yeah, that orange looks like poop. LSB or Violet. You should really paint it nipple pink.

This is the sample that was used for the orange. It is definitely a dingy/brown orange but I kind of like it.

I think that would look pretty sweet actually. The photoshop doesn't do the color any justice. I think it could come out looking awesome... but then again it could look horrible. Either way it would definately be unique.

in my opinion your car should be modded a bit more cosmetically before getting such a distinguishable paintjob (e.g. suspention, rims, etc.) i say go with a more common, less exagerrated color, or just leave it how it is.

    my $.02.

The car photoshopped in his first post isn't his e30. His is a track car so he wants it to be flashy. Correct me if I'm wrong, M3inNC

Ollie, You are correct. My car is lowered with race springs front/rear "is" spoilers. There is not much we can do to our Spec E30 cars based on the rules.
