    Duct it.
    Wash it out VERY carefully. If it was sold to someone, chances are a motor blew up, and they didn't want to risk re-use, or the time to clean it out.
    Consider mounting it in front of the radiator to get best possible airflow, rather than a hacked solution under the radiator where its vulnerable, and perhaps not in the airflow well.

    Then it may be fine.

    Also do a leak test, make sure it has no holes anywhere.

    Should be more than enough.
