    1994 bmw convertible window motor

Hello, I am having trouble finding a window motor with the same connector as my front drivers side window motor that has gone out in my 1994 BMW 325i convertible. Every window motor ive seen doesnt have the same connector as mine does. My connector has 6 prongs on the motor and 6 inlets on the connector that goes into the motor. If you have any info that could help it is much appreciated. Thanks.

based on a random '94 325 convertible in the parts catalog - this is the part number for the front driver's window motor....

can you post some pics and also the last seven of your VIN?

you can also use realoem.com to confirm parts if you haven't already.

I'm guessing that because that motor is shared with the E31 the difference is the bit of circuitry that drops the window down a bit when opening or closing the door. It may be a discrete piece you could refit to another motor. I'd wager that the actual motor is no different than the sedan or coupe versions.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
