Hey guys, i was wondering if this would work. drop 3.0 cams in my 325 and use an HKS S-AFR or Apexi S-AFC to level out the A/F ratio. I know you can run the cams with the stock chip, but it will screw up the a/f ratios, leaning it out in some parts, running rich in others... so instead of an aftermarket chip (JC chip), which i have heard mixed reviews on since it isnt custom burned, wouldnt the above set up work best? Do these aftermarket controllers work with bimmers? or is there something i'm missing here? Thanks, Sol

can those things change your a/f ratio? i thought its for reading only?? correct me someone!

no, they adjust the A/F ratio by percentage, and i know the Apex-i one can read the ratio's also... the hks one has more control but doesnt have the large display... but i'm guessing it can still display the ratio's. Also, under large load/high rpm, does the a/f guage/meter become innacurate? isnt this why egt is used to tune or wideband o2 sensors?
