Its hard to say. I'd vote no.
It's a bit lower than mine. Like was said above, it's probably a bad stock suspension. Hard to see where the rubber starts and ends in those pictures though.

would a bad stock suspension ride pretty harsh?

that's a lot lower than my car when it had stock suspension - i would vote that it is stock, but it's probably blown.

that looks stock to me
well the dealer just emailed me back and he said it has a dinan suspension.
It looks dropped to me... Not that much though.
My cars suspension looks exactly the same and its the stock suspension. Car still holds strong to the ground on turns -- I wouldnt say that my suspension is shot.
Never mind the ride height... no one thinks 20K is steep for a '99 with 81K miles?!
hah well i guess everyone was wrong
mine looks the same and its stock.
Looks like a normal height for OE suspension to me.
I checked that car out about 2 or 2.5 months ago (seeing as I live two seconds from the dealer) and was considering a buy until then some issues came to light with the car....Anderson Bmw has had that car forever and I figured out why as soon as I drove it. It had some body issues at the time of my drive that have now been fixed rather nicely and I think it may have been smoked in, but the major problem I found was the clutch....it needed one on a serious level, no joke. Pretty clean car overall, after the body was taken car of, yet I agree with brown9999, the price is a bit steep for what you get. Plus, you don't want to hear what I think of the service I recieved. Just my opinion.
Good Luck,

Also, I want to add that the clutch may have been fixed with the body work that was done.....I haven't driven it since my first drive awhile ago. Maybe they took car of it....Who Knows?
