    Can you tell production number from VIN?

    I was curious if I can find out what number M3 I have, is there a way to tell from ther VIN? I know my car was made pretty early on since it was manufactured 3/94 but I wanted to see which number in the production run it was.

    That's pretty cool, my car was made in Regensburg. Still doesnt tell me about what the production # would be, maybe it's in the serial number?
