    double din radio in e39.....

    i was just wondering if any has done this or even if it would fit....


    i was looking at this radio. kenwood ddx7017 double din....



    pics would be great and how hard was it 2 do it???

    that bazel (from the link) at $250 is a real RIP OFF.

    back to your question, no it's not possible to do w/o serious modifications.
    the screen may fit only because it's very very thin.
    why would you want to install double din unit is a mystery to me.
