Can anyone help, on my e36 coupe, the heater dial that crontrols the blow speed, which ranges from 1 to 4 only blows when its turned on no4 is there an easy way to fix this?

I had the same problem. my blower only worked on 3 and 4. I replaced the blower resistor to fix it. I got the part from bavauto for $31. Do a search for blower resistor for the how to. hope this helps.
