    Gary,

Direct me to a reliable source of cam-specific software please? Who should I talk to and how much should I spend?

Eurosport makes it as a special version of their shark injector. $645 looks to still be the price. My 328i has run for a long time now with no troubles at all. The biggest gripe I have with it is that the rev limiter is set @6800 instead of the 7000 the M3 makes, which is a pretty minor concern overall.

You could also go with AA, that's who I have dealt with for software for the past 5 years.

You'll actually feel the difference with the Conforti software. I had it for almost 2 years now with no problems.

What other mods do you have? Is this using the non-intercooler system?

I don't think those drivetrain components are going to help your horsepower much...

Agreed. Refer to the dynos for the OBDII setups on page 1 of this thread. It's going to be fairly similar. The main difference is the AA track pipe and software. Depending upon the dyno and conditions, could be anywhere from 215-225 whp... (250-260 at the crank).

I'm surprised seeing all these guys with a few mods pulling the same numbers I pulled stock. My dyno chart is a few pages back, but it was 181hp/192tq on a dynojet. Could have been wrong, it was uncorrected, but

Maybe I have a freak motor, maybe the shop sending it to me uncorrected explains the numbers. Either that or I have a chip I don't know about.

    Quite true
Especially since a Dynojet was involved, they are notorious for being a bit "high". I dyno'd on a Mustang and I feel lower than everyone else although I know I am quicker than a few cars I have seen dyno better numbers.

even amongst dyno jets there is variation....the same car could lay down different numbers on different dynos....

How true! No car will ever reproduce exact same results on the dyno or on the track. I think that's the problem we all have with "paper racing" lol
