damn that is is rediculous
93' 325i - K&N Apollo CAI/pod filter setup + Powerchip (Australian)
Now not sure if everyone elses results are in RWKW or RWHP, but I ran 128.3KW @ the rears. Not sure on the Torque though. . . .
Before the Powerchip, it ran 119RWKW
Its quite fun when the turbo spools
I probably shouldn't post this yet since I don't have a high quality scan of the dyno sheet printout. I just have a pic I took with my cameraphone so you can get a rough idea of the curves. I'll get a good scan and post it later.

The curves showed a good deal of spiking/fluctuation; around 30whp's worth of spiking from 3k-5.5k RPM. Probably a spark plug/O2 sensor issue? A/F's were all over the place first run but straightened out after that. I have a Dinan Powerdyne CF S/C kit sitting around from when I took it off my M3 to go to a Vortech headunit setup. I am debating putting the Powerdyne on the 325 just for fun. Will post a new graph if I do.
Wow, 167.88 rwhp seems pretty good considering the mileage and that the only mod is a CAI! This gives me hope... It'll just have to be corrected on mine for altitude when I get one done
Hey all, here's a link to mine... since this is more of an information thread, I'll avoid cluttering it up with my graph and just refer you to it below . My dyno numbers aren't worth mentioning here anyways

we need a 1/4 mile timesheet sticky too imo. Just for fun.

Coming from owning a 98 Chrysler Sebring before this guy, I am so happy. I think I have the lowest numbers on the posts I've seen thus far, but I'll deal.

This is a Spec e36 club race car. I was getting pulled on the straights by the 325s, really frustrating. Programming is open, what should I do? I have one cyl w/ questionable leak down numbers but I hate to pay for a rebuild.

That one cylinder could do it... that could potentially be 16% of your power loss (assuming zero functionality, which is highly unlikely). Aside from that, is the m50 manifold legal in spec e36? If so, it seems like that is the best hp gain for the money and from what I've seen it helps primarily in the top end where you'll be most of the time on your track car anyways. HTH, good luck! Your torque numbers make me jealous
M50 manifold is not legal, I'm going to leak test it again this weekend and decide if I need a rebuilt. Any thoughts on what programming would do? Any suggestions on who to turn to for programming?

I've been happy with AA, but Jim C. does good work I've heard, and techno550 (w/ TRM) here on the forums has gotten a lot of power out of his stock m50 with just tuning. Best of luck!
If you want AA tuning, talk to Marco (you'll most likely find him in the FI forum), he was a great guy to work with and was a big help. I can't speak highly enough about AA's customer service either, which seems to be a trend within the bimmerforums community.
