I was in the car also & he swore the bimmer cldnt beat him on a top end run, but boy was he mistaken. that car has a huge 5.5 e55 motor with tuned ecu, headers, exhaust stuffed in a c class body, & it happened on the i95 to E-Town. He was sure he was gonna be a few $100 richer. the poor thing ?;-(

Amazing Lloyd how much the car has been modded 1000's of $$ later for this run you mention here since he got blown away at Mexico by me earlier that yr. However with me in my car modded as is we r talking over 3500lbs as well. Hmm stand alone AEM ECU,Nice! Nice!


But please don't sleep. If I were to do the same mods or have AJ mod my Benz with Full Interior then I'd poke out my chest. But it's all good. Only thing tuned about my ECU is the fact that the top speed limiter has been eliminated.

The car has to this day not been tuned for the headers,nor the full exh. But please tell the FULL story! A win is a win if that's what you wanna call it. He definitely would have pulled away more convinceingly I'd admit if he did'nt have your huge Jamaican backside in the car! Yes your big belly fish is alot bigger than mines now and then.

I'm always up for some friendly competition at the track and as a matter of fact we could probably have AJ wrk on that! My Benz that is!

Just felt I needed to add my side to the story.

ok, heres the mods done to the car, full AA race exhaust, schrick intake manifold, cams (custom grind), vanos deleted, aem fuel management (tuned by sean ivey), 3:64 diff ran 12.8 (blew up)1/4 in 4th gear, stock diff 3:23 ran 12.6 1/4 in 3rd gear, the key to running these times in my opinion was keeping the motor in it's sweet spot, (wasted rpm means wasted time)repeatability and consistancy, top end is lacking and we're working on that, moving our shift point 500rpm make a major difference, oh and the driver weights in at about 246lbs that was added into the 3100lbs + #, why is hp #'s so important, WHAT ABOUT TORQUE, no nitros after we beat the Z06 he was so pissed he had the track ck the car (they were pleased with the results), if anyone wants to see this car we will come see u and show u the car if u r in the tri-state area, (even take u for a ride), more to come,

1.Stock heavy AMG rims
2.5.5L motor with headers and exh
3.Delimited topspeed ECU.
4.Nothing more and car not even tuned for mods.
5.3574lbs with me in the car
6. 324rwhp and rwtq 349ftlbs presently UNTUNED!

Again,Delroy's car is fast and not to take away from it. I was truly surprised how well his car ran compared to when we ran in Mexico. He spent a load of $$$ but I give him props for a good job!

This is a great thread!! 11.85 @118 e30 325 turbo at around 18psi. Currently building a 2.7 and upping the boost. Looking for low tens..... slicks to come also. This is currently a street car. Possibly turning into a race car on the street.

Clarified that minor clearancing to fit maximum 26"x10"x15" rubber is permitted in street car class. Reclassified aftermarket automatic transmission as Pro Street. Removed All Motor class.

Oleg, I think the only reason your timeslips weren't considered is a question over the accuracy of the timing equipment .. I'd love to get you on the list though. What more info can you provide about the drag strips timing and length of track to make sure your timeslips are a fair comparison to NHRA spec tracks?

We have two of this systems in the country, one with cable, another is wireless.

All drag race chapms we have here are covered by our official automotive federation FAU (http://fau.in.ua/). They checks all tracks for legth, width, breaking length e t.c. They inspect vehicles to pass the rules for the class it want to run in. No legal drag race event can take place without FAU. It's prohibited by low. We have different classes then you, we run on regular concrete or asphalt...but all other is about the same. I had to install cage, fire suppress system, flex plate shield and many other parts to run lower then 11. It's all legal and official and we do not run on 357 or 376 meters It just makes no sence

Best time I ever made was 10.26sec 1.8sec 60ft 232kmph, it was 29 Aug 2009.

It translates as: I think Coupe (me) was very happy to got the new record pass with 10.26 and I was proud to loose him only 0.08sec. Also his (my) runs with Igor Vrabia (black Skyline) was just amazing.

If this not enough here is the video from another city with really bad track but race america tree display was taken. I run 10.65 this run, not the best one, but it's the only one I can found now where display was taken:

The car is full metal E30 M3 body with Ford 9" rear end and TH400.

No plastic doors or windows, no aluminium floor or something, all lights low, hi, rear, wipers e.t.c. All mods and engine swap was approved and it takes license plate to run on streets.
