The only additive I use is Chevron Techron F.I. cleaner every 1,000 miles or so. (You can get a 4-pack at Costco for $10 = great price)
I think everyone here uses a synthetic engine oil so there is no real need for any of the "aftermarket" oil additives. IMO Slick-50 is "snake oil". It may be OK for old worn-out engines...I used some in the 1980's in my VW GTI when it first came out but didn't notice any big improvements.

Forget about octane boost, very little, if any positive effect. Slick 50 might have been of use in a motor built in the 70's or early 80's not so much in today's engines.

Fuel injector cleaner once in a while will not harm anything (all the time, I don't know). But a bottle full every 6000 miles will not harm anything, could even help some clogs, but today's gasoline already has detergents in it to keep things clean...
