    Where in S.Cal to turn Dual Mass Flywheel

    Guys,

    Do u guys know where i can Turn my Dual Mass Flywheel in S. Cal.


    Also, I was told that These Flywheels are not able to be turned?

    is this true?

    alright thanks....i just thought that it just needed a special machine....so most people don't have it, so they don't do it.

    BTW

    FYI, a stock 3.2 L flywheel weighs........24lbs.

    too bad you can't get a LTW flywheel if it's for your M.

    yea, it's for my M....the reason why i didn't go with a LTW fly was bc i don't like the rattle. I sat in an M with a LTW.......it's loud and my car is a daily driver.

    for one thing, i upgraded the flywheel to a 3.2 flywheel, which is approximately 5-6lbs lighter.

    i have a 95 M3.

    Anyone ever see the tool for turning dual mass flywheels, if it exists? It must be quite a tool!

    i was told by the dealer, that a flywheel can be turned, but they do not recommend it. also they say that only a few machine shop (very few) have the proper equipment to do the job right.
