Sweet pictures. Especially that Carrera GT.
I talked to the driver, he told me that he thinks he was around 175mph by the time he got to turn #1. He wasn't sure because "he was looking out the windshield, and not down at the dash."Originally Posted by everybodylikepi

--DrDubHold on let me get my laptop and read this on the toilet.
There were no other BMWs there, other than a BMW 2002 and my dad's and i's 199 323i
So your Infinity has debris on one side and a faster car trying to pass on the other? I would very much love to see a race a Road America. I've only been to VIR and plan on going to at least one race at Road Atlanta. I'm in the prime location. VIR is 2 hours north and Road Atlanta is 3 hours south. Races make me very happy.
Here's a track map if you are intrested. I was working at Turn #13A (were almost all the pictures were taken)Originally Posted by static667
I should add, that front stretch from Turn #14 to Turn #1 is about a mile long. God that track was fun to drive on!! I can't wait to go back this summer.

What the map doesn't show is the terrain. From like Turn #14 to the start/finish you are going up hill kind of steeply. From the start/finish line to Turn #1 is is pretty flat. Turn #4 going into Turn #5 is a rather abrupt down hill. From the Toyota Bride to turn 6 is another somewhat steep uphill. "The Carrosel" is interesting because it is a reverse camber turn.
Road America is a very techincal course to drive at some places. But none the less it is a blast to drive.
