I don't know if this is out of place, but my father owns a auto body shop/dealership, and I came accross this E36 at an auction in Hartford. I feel sorry for that poor soul, I'm guessing slid sideways into a pole???
EDIT: LOOK AT PICTURES AT THE END OF THIS THREAD.....WEIRD.

Sadly enough, I've seen worse. WAY worse.
Drive safe, and remember these pictures the next time you use the street as a race track.

OMG that is crazy , poor car... hope the people were ok
That is sad to see, i hope every one survived the reck... i'd say the only thing that survived is the wiring harness and hopefully the passagers.....
Wowzers
That had to hurt.
one less b and b tri flo exhaust out there
How much did it go for if you don't mind me asking?
I don't see much that's reusable on that car.
It's sad to see pictures like this. Really get you to think of what will happen when you're on one of those adrenaline rush and have to go fast and something goes wrong.
I'm not sure how much it went for, or if they people survived, but it just caught my eye and I had to post. I'll check up on it though and let you guys know when it does sell.
I blame the Toyos.

I'm an existentialist though, so no matter how it happened, it's his/her own fault.

Wasn't there a thread about this specific accident here within the last few months?

Does anybody have the picture of the Dakar M3 that looks like it was curled into a ball? I remember it because the only way I could even tell it was a BMW was by the sidemarker.

They normally don't have Light Poles lying around for cars to slam into at triple digit speeds on race tracks. Its called controlled environments. .Originally Posted by misterlance
