The baro is the issue. That barometric pressure would be normal for about 13,000 - 14,000 ft. ASL. More likely it should be in the 29.5 - 30.5 range.
The dyno isn't worthless, contrary to what's been said. It's probably within 2% of accurate.
As for the guy who said uncorrected numbers are always higher, that is absolutly incorrect. Any time you have a correction factor greater than 1 your actual power is lower than your corrected power. Up here at altitude we frequently see 1.2 - 1.25 correction factors. Uncorrected = 200 whp, Corrected = 240 whp.

There is an odd misfire at 6500, the original redline. It runs fine right up to that point, then misfires badly, as seen in all three runs. I have not figured it out yet, but if anyone has any ideas, please PM me. The AA software, which I have had for about four years now, is supposed to rev limit at 7000.

i really need to go dyno mine now that i have the AA software, it should be just about the same as yours + a few extra ponies. hopefully tomorrow i will have a chance
that misfiring is very WEIRD. you say you've had the software for four years now, have you ever noticed the misfiring before (ie. on the street) your was it just while you were dynoing? i would call AA and email them the dyno files...
LOST POWER AFTER NEW SOFTWARE UPGRADE???

here's an update to my previous reply in this thread on how my car is coming along:
taken from another thread i made in the e36 M3 section: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=687627
please post all comments/replies in there.
This is from the recent dyno day we had at Church Automotive. the dyno my car ran on was a dynapack 4000. i had run there before with my current mods minus the track pipe and was decently content with the results, but my A/F was all messed (too rich) and my car was misfiring. after lots of troubleshooting i came up with the idea to unplug my MAF...yes, you heard right. so i've been driving the car around without the MAF plugged in for quite some time and wanted to get it dyno'd...here's what i got (note: this dynapack typically reads between 10-15 higher than dynojets):
as you can see i actually gained power...quite a bit actually. you'll also notice that there is absolutely no drop in torque anywhere with the addition of the track pipe.
wanna see why unplugging my MAF actually helped me? here:
look at my A/F differences between having the MAF plugged in and not having it plugged in (plugged in is the lighter lines).
something else to notice is that after around 5500rpm my rwhp line kinda flattens out. i was talking to Church and he mentioned that it seems like the car is having breathing issues (either on the exhaust side or the intake) at higher RPMs. sounds logical to me, so i'm thinking i need to clean my air filter and possibly get some headers.
ignore where it says flywheel hp, it's not flywheel numbers they are measured at the wheel hubs which is why it's 10-15 higher than dynojets. this is discussed briefly in the other thread i made (listed above).

I am new to this forum, just getting started. I just installed an AA Stage 1 s/c kit using the Rotrex C-38. (1998 M3/4). On a dynojet I posted just about 300 whp and 251 wtq at about 38 degrees ambient temperature. Exhaust is still stock. Check engine light goes on and off every couple of hundred miles, so I still may have an issue with the engine tuning. My car was also tested in 4th gear. Was not able to get A/F check which is important. Some of these A/F posts are all over the place which doesn't sound right.
would it be possible for somebody to get all these entries into some type of lists (turbo - NA) and this way we can see the year then Hp. for comparsion reasons.
Reason why, is i would love to see where i stand when it comes to dyno power in this forum. (yet i understand people are on diffrent dyno's and weather conditions play a factor) The margin of error will be taken into concideration.

Does anyone have a link to a dyno of an s50 with:
Euro HFM, intake, Software, Stock injecters (otherwise stock)
VS./OR
Stage 3 cam kit (Euro HFM, intake, software, 24lb injectors, cams, otherwise stock)
I know that many companies have their own dynos, but Id like to see 3rd party dynos for realistic comparitive purposes, especially seeing numerous examples of HFM kits (even with 24lb injectors) only putting down around 15 WHP.
Thanks for any help
