RPM is off about 600 RPM at redline... the operator used the rollers to calibrate RPM and his figures where off a bit.

AA Chip, bought on sale during their summer sale...

I think my A/F is wacked... thoughts?

Your A/F looks like its leaning out worse than mine. You might look into that.

I don't think your numbers are too far off...I wouldn't think a BBTB TB would help all that much with all the small diameter stuff still in line.

did you romp on it a few good times on the way to the dyno shop to get your fuel trims in line? and was the coolant temp above 200* when they did the runs?

Nope, didn't drive it hard before dyno-ing it. Not sure what the coolant temp was, but my car was pretty cold (only idled 1-2 mins before the dyno test). Now that I think about it, the car should be at operating temperature before testing.

Btw, I'm very interested in the M50 manifold kit. Don from modbargains tells me you definitely know your stuff!

I'm surprised your torque# should be higher consider that you got a SC.

The odd part about your dyno plot is that the torque and HP lines do not intersect @ 5250 rpm. I'm definately no expert, but this is something you should investigate...Could be dyno calibration.

They don't intersect because the scales for tq and hp aren't the same.
If you look carefully, at 5250 RPM, he's got the same value of tq and hp, ~250. It's a mathematical given, when units used are ft-lbs and hp.

You should get a backpressure test on the cats done. Your car looks like it is making a LOT of torque for an M50 car, but not as much top end. The torque curve just looks a bit strange. Very healthy torque though!

Heh, I'm glad some of you guys from the dyno day posted up your results.

Mine was basically the same except I had a better afr. 227/205. They said that the reason it was a little but lower than last time could be from my k&n being dirty.

Whatever, hopefully this is my last dyno with my current mods.

Got dyno'd yesterday at westech performance in L.A. However, I'm on a Mac and therefore can't use the windows software they gave me to make a proper graph. Here is a link to the data in SFD format: http://veonake.robinsoncove.net/m3/baseline3.sfd

I made 201.7whp SAE corrected, 211 STP, 221 dynojet. This is a baseline dyno as I just received the M50 kit (have not yet installed) from Eric and wanted to know where I was at.

    Following the dyno sheet thread:
    Year: 1998
    Build Date: 11/1997
Mods: No engine mods unless NGBRQUEP count.
    Dyno Type: Superflow
    Dyno Conditions: 72 degrees F, 29% humidity, 29.13 barometric
    Gear Dynoed: 4th
    Peak HP: 201.7
    Peak Torque: 196.5

Here is an STP graph someone made for me. Can't tell much from A/F based on this graph due to scaling, sorry about that, I've included a seperate A/F graph below. Oh, and I guess the operator didn't adjust for RPM completely properly as it shows redline at 6750 in 4th and I'm not chipped.
    Any thoughts?
