I could squeeze a little more HP out with custom tuning but I really don't have the urge to mess with it. I'm embarrassed of my dyno results because I was a dyno n00b (First time evaR) and screwed up my first run.. anyway.
He who hesitates is not only lost, but miles from the next exit.

it says it was dynoed in third gear. I dont have much experience with dynomometers so I dont know if it will make that much of a difference.Originally Posted by SleepRM3

Car was running on 1 of 4 O2 sensors, and spark plugs were fouler than Hilary Clinton's you know what. AFRs were probably in the high 10s to low 11s (car SPEWED black smoke, so much so that the entire building filled up over the 2 runs)

Went to Wayne's Dyno too xeler8. I'm not sure if this is normal. Seems a little low for my mods. And running full tank, 1/4 of it 110 octane.Originally Posted by xeler8

The guy also left the freakin' oil cap off during the runs too, wasn't happy about that. It sounded like a monster with 3.5 intake but I was a bit disappointed with the numbers. Do these stats sound normal?

If it was properly tuned I bet you put down well over 220.

Just like Bav///Man (1st dyno posted) i'm running way too lean from 3000-4500 and then i go pig rich from 4750+. I am convinced this is directly related to the Turner chip, Conforti is notorious for tuning rich and Turner chips are also known for running lean down low. I'm going Stickley when i get the cash.

If you talk to Jim C though, he'll tell you that the AFR graph isn't supposed to be a straight line. The chips are tuned that way for a reason.
If you'd like to know more about it, there is a great thread with numerous posts by him. Search his username.
Congrats on the #s! Same as mine!

i'm not saying it should be flat, but richer than 12:1 on a lightly modded NA car is horrendous.

I'm really shocked at these numbers. They seem VERY low to me. The same as a stock engine. Turner claims 32hp with this kit. What say you? Help is greatly appreciated.

They do look a little low....especially for those mods on a dynojet...hmmm

I noticed a decent spike in TQ right around the 3,700 RPM range... I think a new vanos selenoid is in order. Also... I'm running lean down low, not to bad in the middle, and lean again past 6k. Although.... someone told me that not having cats could throw the AFR off. thoughts?
