So, a basic question, what's the standard cost of a Dyno session?
    Thanks.

All the time. 4th gear pulls are most typical when tuning your car, but I always do a few 5th gear pulls too.

^ you have a 24% drivetrain loss? Thats too much. You should be 243-249 rwhp, have you checked your engine compression, Checked for leaks, or replaced fuel filter?

why you think that engine compression or leak is in connection with drivetrain loose? this no make sense. fuel filter is new.

Well your numbers do seem low im not sure if it's possible to have that kind of drive train loss, makes me wounder how accurate that dyno is. I only asked how your compression was because of your low numbers. Stock us spec M3 can put down as much as 217 whp most will put down around 200-209 whp some less so i would think a Euro would put more than that.

maybe is your dyno wrong???????????? maha lps 3000 is high rated dyno machine and porche, vw using it. here is correction factor din 70020 which is used when car is produced. maybe newer correction standards have stronger tolerances.

i dont see how you got 257 on a mustang for that matter, with not much of anything done... you sure everything was calibrated properly

i would like to see the sheet for certain

I will go get it re dynoed again as i dont know where the sheet is after my move but i have it posted somewhere on www.m3forum.net

There are some additional things that are done to this car as well, 1mm oversized valves, solid lifter conversion, titanium retainers, ported and polished head, radius cut valves, ect... All in all it was a $4500 head build

The car is tuned to run on e-85 so timing can be bumped way up.

For anyone that doesnt belive in the mean time lets go race, im always down for some racing

Too bad that the non-believers are in NJ, like 1000 miles away!

Seriously though, I didn't realize you had all that head work done. That sounds pretty cool. You have a place out there that specializes in BMW engines?

Tell me if you think this is dangerously lean at all:
(I only have the lambda and AFR as a numeric list so I wont take a picture)

    Roughly:
    ~mid-low 15s until 3500
    ~high-mid 14s until 5000
    ~high 13s until 7000

    Cool

I think you need bigger injectors..24# and maybe a retune...but then again, what do I know?

I agree with the 24#. I was somewhat surprised to see they were still 21.5.

Might be nice to have some fun with 24s and the new Conforti setup... birthday is in a month

In my opinion 24# are a wast till you hit 290rwhp, im still running the 21.5's and im running e-85 so they are just about maxed out but still can make a little more power with them.

Well, if that's the case, perhaps he should contact AA to find out why the tune is causing the motor to run lean.
