You have some serious issues with that motor, such as a monstrous vacuum leak, engine wear, fouled plugs? It should pull 260+ whp in Shootout Mode. I just saw a 3.0 Euro motor (minor mods) pull 240+ whp at 7,400 rpm on a DD in Shootout Mode, so your larger motor with hotter factory cams defintely should be higher. Maybe a dyno error, but those machines are mostly bulletproof I hear.
Better yet, send that motor over the pond to me for, ummm...diagnosis....

Well guys I think im going to try and straighten out this conforti intake kit thing. I have a 95 s50 freshly rebuilt head valves, seals, head gasket the whole thing. Longtube headers, uuc u system catback. Im getting ready to install the conforti stage 2 intake system so im going to see what kind of numbers it will put down. Do you think that since I rebuilt my haed it will make a diffrence??
What do you all think my car will dyno at with a fresh built head (P&P, 3 angle valve job all new gaskets) and the schrick cam kit. I was thinking 240-250whp. We will see. Anybody want to take bets?
Ha thanks. I'll make sure to make it over 240whp.
Mods AA trackpipe 214whp, and about 200wtq. I was told the correction factor was alittle off. It should have made another 5-8whp. The Shop also only had 1 fan pulling on the car, in between the rad and the fog light.http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=801132

Just redyno'd my 95 m3 with the following mods; 21.5 lbs injectors, cosmosracing intake 3.5 inch, 540 hfm, AA trackpipe, and a AA tune for all the mods including the trackpipe(7,300rpm new redline). 229whp, and 212wtq. Stock with just a trackpipe it made 214whp, and 200wtq. Here's a link to the thread http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...6#post10453616. I cant get my dyno sheet uploaded. BTw; i think this shows 21.5 lbs injectors make more tq then the 24lbs injectors.

autotragic, intake filter, euro hfm, dinan TB, ASC delete, fan delete, UUC tse
that automatic just rapes it, ill go back after the 5 speed swap. we think i can get another 10 with that. which would be nice.
this is what happens when you dyno an autotragic lol :
that was the first run, we did in drive and it was a pig the whole way. discovered manual mode and made it MUCH smoother. obviously everyone i know is getting the second one
Might as well post my dyno #'s from another auto, mods in sig. First 2 pulls were in 3rd gear and third pull done in 4th gear which got the highest hp/tq readings.

I had done a dyno test before I turbocharged my European version of M3:
Year: 1993

Engine: European version of S50B30
Mods: stock engine except for SuperSprint front exhaust without catalytic converter
Peak HP: 283.1 HP
Peak Torque: 314.4 Nm

Gear Dyno'd: 3rd
Peak HP: 207.11
Peak TQ: 195.12
Doe these numbers seem about right to you guys? i was hoping for a little more. the car runs great and pulls hard, so i still love it. but these numbers seem a little low to my noobness.
whithin the month when i dyno next i should have a recharged filter, AA race headers and the AA track pipe. how much of a difference will these mods make?
New dyno:
97 M3
Rebuilt IP Race engine with OBDII Sunbelt cams/full Ferrea valvetrain
Stock headers to AA Track Pipe to B&B Tri-Flo
Diffsonline 3.64 with polished gears
Chris
Thanks!
The tuning is Bimmerworld OBDII "remote" tuning, second try. The first/default flash ran to 7400 RPM and that did not work out so well for the engine. After the rebuild, Bimmerworld received my ECU with my old dyno and A/F, adjusted accordingly, and reset my limiter to 7200 RPM. I do not know who Bimmerworld uses, but they pretty much nailed it this time around.
Unfortunately, I am unsure which injectors I am running. It is something that I can find out though!
Chris
