    Need transmission ID #.

I've got a ZF 5 speed from a '97 328 with a broken mounting tab. I need to buy a new tailshaft housing, but what is the official ID of these trannys?
You know, like the tranny it's replacing is a 4L30E? I do a Google search for 'ZF Tranny parts' and I get a lot of dumptruck and Ford hits. If I can do a specific search it would help.
    Thanks!

Yeah, I've done a few searches but haven't gotten anything. Hopefully a tranny guru here will be able to help out.
The tranny is being installed (auto/manual swap) and the guy installing it found that it was broken. I bought it off a guy on bf.c, but it was never taken out of it's packaging until today. If the tab would have broken off in transit that would have at least been better. I could have had it repaired.

    None for now
the ZFs ZF S5D310 Z for the 95 part #23001222793
    ZF S5D 320 Z for 96+ 328/M3 part #23001434485

Not quite sure how you tell them apart unless the sticker is on there. On mine there are plenty of stamps on it but none of them matched up into realoem part #s.
