thats the best interior color ever, like in my old Infiniti J30
Def a nice interior^^^ I like the Cobra Misano's in modena better, but that is tasty too
Can you repost some of the interior pics? I missed seeing them before the bandwidth was exceeded. Excellent job with the leather. I may have to go this route some day...

hey man what kinda seats did you have previously... selling..? how much?
More bits trimmed....
Had the A and C pillars knocking around for a while so I thought I'd stick up a few pics
The A-pillars just a straight forward retrim
The C-pillars.....Hmmmmmm was looking everywhere for ideas for interior lights....looked at the e46 styles ones..too bling
Searched about for anything that caught my eye, nothing only thing for it get rid of the C-pillar courtesy lights and smooth the pillars out! :smt004 :smt023:
B-pillars
Started these just tonight so its still early doors
The grand plan/idea is to one day have a rear rollcage in the coupe, going to be making it to my spec so whilst messing around with the template for the rollcage this weekend it was clear that to get the cage fitting 100% how I wanted, it will be tight against the B-pillars........so..............
Bye bye seat belts....and smooth the B-pillars trims!!!
Even if I never end up with a cage then I was going to run harnesses anyway with the Misnaos 8)
(just off down the shed after I post this to put a thin skim of filler on them fingers crossed trimming tomorrow evening
and all 3 pillars together the B's will be tan (of course)
that's going to be the hottest interior when it's done
damn, looking good. Last time i saw this thread the pics didn't work. glad I can see all of them now.
wow that is looking REALLY damn good!
you must have a lot of free time!

29/2/06 - More Leathering
Finally got around to finishing off the B-pillars today. Working 2 jobs is seriously hampering the progress of the car now :
A couple thin skims of filler and the B-pilars were ready for trimming nothing more to add really here they are A, B (seat belt removed and smoothed), C (interior light removed)
Mmmmmm.....
NEXT UP -Starting the doorcards.....
Been buying up loads of cards recently to try and find the perfect 4 to be trimmed up and fitted into the car....12 doorcards later I think I've got together 4 that a near perfect
I a freaking mental idea brewing for the cards.......very stealth and will fit in a treat with the rest of the car...all will be revealed when I get started on them, for today I just started easy with trimming the door pulls in tan
Front side
Backside (looks pretty damn tidy to me) cant even see the backside so the join wasn't partcularly important BUT if it was bad I'd know about it and I'd lose sleep over it
Was thinking long and hard about the interior and tbh if I was playing it simply I've pretty much trimmed everything I can, only thing left is the back seat and headliner (which is going to be a monster project! trust me 8) I've got a few ideas : :roll apart from those thats it..... but looking at a few alittle further afield at ideas I've decided to go all out with the interior so if it can be removed from the car it will be retrimmed speaker builds, inner sill plates, entire dash board (after I've modded it) even thinking about doing the whole doorcards plus anything else I've forgotten ...... should be fun...whatch this space
i totally forgot about this thread it's coming along great. I can't wait to see it when it's finished

looks great so far....like what your doing...
3/3/06 - Project Headlining
First off, apologies if this makes even less sense than most of my posts, my brain is fried on resin :smt119
Finally found some time to start this little project. Was always the intention to cover the headliner in tan leather to go with the rest of the interior, when stripping out the pillars etc... I removed the sun visors and thought it looked 100% better without them. Got me thinking, gotta get rid of those  where the sun visors sit BM designed them to fit into the kind of recess.
With the sun visors removed it'd look wierd to still have these recesses of the long gone visors, the only thing to do was to cut out the ridges which form the recesses and fibreglass over them to make the 'liner nice and smooth with no trace of sun visors ever being there :P
First job was to coat some of the headliner around the areas I was going to cut out in resin to try and give it some strength so when I cut the bits out the liner didn't lose all shape.
Once the resin was set, I started to cut out sections of the ridge and glass over the holes, figured out if I cut out all the ridge in one go it would weaken the area of the liner around the sunroof too much
Backside.... ready for fibreglassing
Plenty of fibreglassing, sanding and abit of fillering...... sun visor mounting smoothed over along with courtsey light hole
Beford and after pics..... I've only done the passenger side atm as I wasn't sure how I was going to tackle this job tbh so didn't want to waste time fucking up both sides if it went tits up...
The area in red is the ridge that was removed to smooth the headlining out
Im SOOOOO jealous.... I wish I had the work area, time and money do all this shit... I have a degree in auto upholstry and seeing all this reminds how much fun it is. damn,.... you're doing an excellent job!!
DON'T BUY PWR RADIATORS
it looks great, nice job.
