    noob tire size question

So i need new tires soon and i have 215s in the front and 235s in the back. I'm guessing i have a 7in wheel in the front and 8 inch in the back. i measured it but it wasn't exact so I'm just guess. my question is could i fit 225s on a 7in wheel and can i fit 245 on a 8in wheel. thanks alot

Wheel width and offset should be stamped/cast on the wheel and is important information in determining possible tire sizes for fitment. Provided the above info is in line with normal E36 sizes you should have no problem with 225x45x17 front and 245x40x17 rear. If the wheel width is the same front and rear I would do 235x40 front and rear to get rid of some of the built-in understeer.

you may have to pull a wheel off and check the back.
