    Sunroof Issue

After much searching and research i have one final question...

I am going to have my headliner redone by a shop, however that shop will not touch the sunroof. The panel which is under the sunroof is sagging badly and really needs to be fixed.

My question is do you have to remove the headliner to get that panel out, or can you just remove the sunroof itself and then remove the panel from the top?

So far i have 3 people saying you can, and 3 more saying the headliner has to come out.

Whats the final verdict on this??

    Thanks,

    Bobby

To remove the actual panel under the sunroof, the headliner has to come off. You have to remove the 8 or so torx screws to remove the entire tray. Then you have to screw with the manual crank forever to get the panel off to redo it. I recently did mine in suede, what i PITA>
