I have an RTAB tool in Arlington, VA. $80 deposit. $60 returned. So in the end $20 to rent it.

Does anyone have for rent a transfer case mount tool? I think they are universal, however if not, looking for one that will fit the E46.

I am in urgent need of a rear wheel bearing tool. I think it is the B90K, that I need. The axle is already out. This is for a 1997 BMW 328i four door (E36). Clunks from the rear and with the wheel off the brake rotor and flange can be jiggled by hand in ways they should not jiggle. Can anyone help?

I have a decent set of hand tools, some electric tools and most importantly a laptop with INPA that works on E30, E36 and E46 cars (and probably more). This is unfortunately necessary to really understand the myriad of ways these cars can soft-fail and even though it is necessary it is not enough. <sigh>

    UPDATE:

I ordered this kit from Amazon that looks like a clone of the B90K.. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08H82BZ8Y...roduct_details
After receiving it, there are definitely plates that match the BMW rear wheel bearing and the thrust bearing looks really good too. We'll see if it lasts.
