I need a tool to handle the bushings in the lollipop brackets and reinstall new ones. Is this thread dead? I'm around Philadelphia.

I've found that the tool is not necessary on e46's. Just spray some windex on the bushing from both sides making sure it seeps through the seams and wiggle it out LIKE A BOSS!

You may have gotten lucky or had a crappy bushing. Otherwise you'll need a press of sorts.

Yeah I wish that were true. I cant even get my bushing off the damn control arm; let alone the bushing out of the lollipop. Anyone?

To press out the bushing from the lollypop you definitely need some sort of contraption. I used a 3 ton press with a bushing press toolkit.

E36 might need a CA puller. E46's don't need it if you use some windex.
