Okay so is the V8 coming or not?

Are they going to offer a V8 model possibly using the M5 engine? And how about the colors and trim will US get more options or will it stay the same? And specs, are there any "real" performance specs out there? 1/4mile? 0-100? etc.

It is very unlikely that BMW will use the M5s V8 and here is why 1/ the weight will impair the handling and balance on the e46. 2/The M5s engine will be too expensive to use in the M3. 3/ Ive just had a drive in a new M3 and it just doesnt need the V8 the car just flies!!!!

most likely BMW will make a M3 GTR but it is wishful thinking it will be coming to the US.
