heated seats ruin leather

do heated vaders ruin the leather? This being my first car with leather seats let alone heated leather seats and the first time i'll be going through winter with this car. I was wondering if excessive use with the heated seats would ultimately be bad for the leather?

The leather gets a lot warmer sitting in summer sun than with the seat heaters on.
