Another from Downunder, I have a 1986 Australian spec RHD M535i, Model No. DC5230,Chassis No. 1670073, Engine No. 41613841, Color 138, Trim 0203, (thats for the "trainspotters"). ie An E28 M535i, M30 with Californian Catylytic specs with the 5 speed close ratio dogleg box and Australian spec 3.46 rear diff ratio (US Spec 3.25) from the 528i to compensate for the 26Kw power loss from the 160 Kw UK spec. The body is the dress up version of the euro M5 in Zinnobar Red with black leather sports interior etc. I'm spoilt rotten in the Northern Territory as we are the only place in Australia with 100% open speed limits outside urban areas and our 2000 Km main hway running North South from Darwin to Alice Springs with only 4 towns and about 12 road side diners to interrupt 200km plus stretches of open 2 lane tarmac. Its possible to average 180 -190 Kmh with occassional 200+ but the Australian diff spec runs only 204 kmh at 6000 so using the Powerchip's (similar specs as Conforti's Chip) 6700 cutout raising is needed to reach 220KMh. The engine had a complete rebuild 130,000 km ago ( 80,000 miles ) and happily sits on 5000+ rpm for hours with air inlet temps at up to 41 degrees c.

And a '82 E21 323i, BMW 1978 R100RS m/c with DJP sidecar with leading link and a 1974 Ford F250 4x4 pickup.

first on the list is - dvd/gps, 18" m3 and lowering springs and a TINT.. think ive got the only bm in vic thats not tinted
