    With $45K which would you buy--a new E90 330i Sport 6-speed or a used 2002 E39 M5?

How about a 6-speed 03-04ish M3?????????!!! Why not, are you looking for a 4-door?? I would definatly take the M5, but, thats a little bit older and I would prefer the newer M3...

    I'd take the M5. An E46 M3 sounds a lot better than the E90 330, too.

Yes I need 4 doors to haul around aging parents at speed. I myself am getting old, and a coupe just doesn't fit our lifestyle anymore...

If you're hauling 3 other people and elders around often, they won't be confortable in a 330i. Even though it's grown in size, it's still not going to be comfortable for older people in the back seat. I say in your case, go with the M5.

Well........ I know the answer to this one. But the only remaining question is it practical an M5 would work for you? Obviously it is allot of responsibility, and it is not as practical or economical as a 330. Good luck.

Get an M3 and a e90 like me. I think the 330 is a total waste of money. I was going to get one till I was test driving it and got cooked by a G35 sedan from a light. Why spend the extra money on a car that has no juice, 255hp does not cut it any more.. I got the 325 and will keep the stop light grand prix to the M3.

How can someone even think about asking this question? It is a NO-BRAINER!

M5 all day, everyday over an E90. Period ... end of story!

But I love my E90 to death do us part!
