95 M3, Headlights won't turn off, not switch!

The title says it all. Headlights started acting up, wouldn't turn of with the switch. I replaced the switch with a new one and they worked for 1-2 weeks and then it started all over again. What else can keep the headlights on when the switch is off? What can "wear" out electrically that would cause this, the switch? How?

    Thanks for any info!

Headlights won't turn off, not switch! Solved

Thanks for the replies. JuBu was right on, the low beam relay was sticking on and it only happened after the car was at running temperature so it seemed to work ok for 1-2 weeks due to short trips or something else...
