Washer fluid warning light reset???

2000 740i. Washer fluid warning light came on. I refilled it but the light won't go back out. Any info? Thanks.

It should go out automatically. If not, I would try unplugging the battery ground for a minute, then reconnecting and seeing if it comes back on. If it does come back on, the sensor is bad. If not, problem solved.

It won't reset this isn't a error code. It's a simple switch which has probably gone bad. Sometimes you can remove it and clean it but usually it needs to be replaced.
