Need some advice. Due to my recent episode last week, I'm going to need to transfer my Koni strut insert on the front passenger side to a new strut housing. Has anyone done this before? I remember the insert being very tight inside the housing after I installed it. I think it's going to be difficult at best to pull it out from there. Any suggestions on how to do it?

Once you take out the bottom bolt of the koni, go to the hardware store and pick up a decent grade bolt the same diameter and pitch, but one that is 3 to 4 inches long. This will allow you to completely engage the threads so when you strike it with a hammer it will not damage the threads.
You can try it with koni's supplied bolt, but it may not be long enough.
