According to this pic, the spoiler has a brakelight and there is none in the rear window. Is that accurate? Or was the third brakelight removed.

I believe every spoiler that was installed from the factory had the third brakelight omitted (not sure if it was removed, just never installed).

That's how you can tell if you have a spoiler from the factory, I guess.

Probably, there's down to 70 left in the US, I would guess. I see them used for 30+ thousand dollars, and...well...that's just not gonna happen for me.

So here I, Effervescent, have shameless started the '95 M3 LTW-Relpica thread. If you are a fan of the LTW...if you have created a replica, are creating one...plan to create on...this is your thread.

Let the naysayers call us posers, wanna-be's, lightweight losers. We are immune. It's our car, we paid cold hard cash for it, and we wanna paint a big bunghole on the hood and call it "anus edition", so be it.

For me it's a visual thing. I LOVE how the LTW looks. I am not trying to recreate a LTW (it's doors, it's suspension, it's weight), I just want the look of a LTW.

I've got a long way to go, but that's half the fun.

    Anyone eles?

Wherd did you get the LTW checkered flag and is it painted or is it a vinyl? ,and how much did the conversion cost you so far

LTW's did not come with those red seatbelts and the rear glass did not have the third brake light

I got the vinyl decals from turner. $170 IIRC.

Bear in mind my 95 Alpine M3 came from the factory with the LTW staggered, painted, stamped rims as a cost-free option! ATTA BARGAINING SKILLS!

So, to date, I have spent the $170 for the decals plus $55 for the moulding badges plus $90 for the X-brace.

    $315. Not bad.

Next I'll add the door sills and glove box trim for about another $335.

Then begins the search for a Motorsport front strut brace.

If you read the main post of the thread, you would know that he asked for people in the works of making a replica LTW... How is this not "in the works of being an LTW replic"?

    So back to you:

Rear LTW decal, LTW rims, M3 front bumper, M3 moldings with international motorsport inserts, M3 mirrors, X-brace, and well that's about it.

I plan on putting a UUC carbon fiber spoiler (painted of course) with adjustable carbon fiber diffuser, my Projector36's come in on Monday, I'm going to do a two-tone interior with tan/black. Black vaders, black m3 rear bench, black glove box door, black sun visors, black headliner bars, black floor mats, and black mid-door panels.

And thenof course the basic suspension, shark injector, pulley's... You know how we do.
