Did search: taillight problem -- doesn't illuminate with lights on

a) When you turn on the dusk lights, i.e., headlights, etc ... the rear taillights do not come on. The car was completely stripped to put a cage in. Is it possible that something came unplugged. If so, what wires should I be looking for since there are A LOT of things unplugged.

The brake lights DO work though.

Would it be near the rear of the car or problem with front of the car? Side markers and front corner lights light up fine. Rear emergency hazards flash as well ... can't seem to locate the problem.

p.s. -- we did check the bulbs and replace them with new ones
