Will 19's fit on an e36

I was wondering if a 19x8 rims with 245/35/19 tires would fit on a 325is and have no problems with rubbing or anything like that. Any help is appreciated thanks.

The right offset, tire size, and fender rolling/modifying can make them fit. I really wouldn't recommend it though. Your car will be much slower, your gas mileage worse, your braking distance longer, your car will look ridiculous on stock suspension, etc. I could go on.

I have 18 inch wheels now and that's pushing it. I will be getting 17s in the future.

Now now! 19's on a slammed e36 is a perfect thing to look at. But yes it does hurt performance, thats why i have 18's. I am running 18x8 in the front and 18x9 in the rear. Dont ask em offsets, cus i dont know them. But let me tell you, if you plan on putting someone in the back without rolling fenders, forget it. Cus you will rub.

19 inch wheels look too big in my opinion.

Yea ive always like teh big wheel look. But yur 323is does look nice with the 18's. And thats what im stayin with. 17's look big but at the same time they are too small. But yea, nice 323. Oh and i just noticed yur from merry ol washington yurself, mayeb ill see you around. My car is almost finished with my new jet black paint job and 3 clear coats. Cant wait till its done.

But about the 19's, on my 328 vert, i have bigger than oem tires, and they rub when going around a corner with just me in it. And no im not hella chunky, hehe! But, i guess the verts sit a tad lower than the coupes/sedans.

245/35/19 are too tall. 245/30/19 would be a better size for the E36.

be careful that paper thin 30 for you tires is prove to bending and/or cracking depending on the streets. Your ride will extremely be affected. i have seen plenty of e36's on 19's, even saw one on 20's. i think 18's with a drop look just as good as 19's and very streetable and good on the miles and ride.

umm some of u guys are smokin crack, 19's are fine on an e36. Like i've said, i've ran 245/35/19, 265/30/19, and 275/30/19 on the rear of my previous e36 m3 and it was dropped about 3 inches in the rear.

Wheels in Sig are SSR GT3's 19" E46 M3 fitment. Dinan E46 M3 Suspension. Pic thanks to Kyle K.

I like the big wheel look. 19x8.5s w/235/35s, but the lips are rolled.

Why does everyone automatically think that just because you go 19s your car will be a tank? I had 19x8.5" RGRs on my M3 and I can guarantee you they weighed less than the 18s on your car at 19lbs. per:

Also, I put 19" Beyern Fives on my fiancee's e36, and at 26 lbs. per, they're what? Two pounds more than 17x8.5" contours?

Besides, who cares? It's not like we're all trying to set fast laps on our way to work...just keep your stockers for the track if that's your thing, and then you can have the lighter and smaller wheels, when size and weight REALLY matters...

    yes please
235/35's w/35-38 offset for no fuss fitment. as others have mentioned, a fender roll will likely be needed.

Ali and Geordie what up guys. 19's on the E36 is no problem and with 275/30-19 in the rear. Dont forget to roll the fenders.

I know this is an old thread but wanted to add some info. I am currently selling my 19" staggered setup but have had them on the e36 for years no problem. I run 19x8.5" fronts with a 225/35 and the rears are 19x9" with a 245/35 fenders and quarters are rolled thats it tucks perfect. I have 3 piece wheels so you can tailor to fit the body. A one piece cast wheel may be harder to obtain this since the wheel arches are small.
Here is mine for reference for the guys that say they don't fit. Are they big, sure but yes they do fit and do not rub on anything even at a low driving height.
