Damn, 6 pages later and I'm finally posting these of my 2002. By the way, I know its not a tii. The PO did that for some reason and I just haven't really cared to remove it yet.

I noticed you've got a nice, simple screw-on oil filter adapter there. where did you get that?

Hopefully someone else can chime in because unfortunately the PO had the pleasure of installing that.

I got the touring from Rob. It is rusty but has a tii motor and is sorted out suspension wise. I'm going to bring it out here and put zender M3 style flares on it. Paint it red and put it on the bay. Or not... did you get the panel? sorry it took so long. It didn't ship out right away. They wanted to make sure they charged me more for packaging because it was a "vintage" auto part, lol. I didn't get the message off the home phone for about 5 days. Oh Harry, my wife must have sensed your posts about me not getting rid of cars.
She's pissed, post menopausal and kinda scary. Look for a few of the herd on ebay in the next month. All but her's, evidently!

Kpolito - I have FL tags because I'm allowed to retain my home of record in FL (where my parents still live). This is beneficial for both taxes (no FL state) and I don't have to wear a front plate. However, this changed recently because I had to use my title as collateral for a debt consolidation loan and get a good interest rate. The title is on its way back however because I'm going to be putting the car up for sale.

2many02s - No, that name doesn't ring a bell. Do you know his position/job title? I'd probably only know him if he was doing something with satellite operations or possibly JPO (aka GPS Wing in LA).

Sounds like my wife after I brought home my last old BMW purchase! (She made me sell it). One of the disadvantages of turning 50 is that it is more than likely that one's missus will turn 50 also, with all the stuff THAT brings. She won't allow me to buy any other one until we can move to the mainland.

If you need help, I can probably hide one or two for you at the apartment I have rented in Atlanta for my daughter. It would save me money on car rental every time I go there...

    SCCA GTC Tube frame 2002

here is a tube frame SCCA GT3 2002 pics and stats...

" The engine is dry sump,336 cam,13.8 to 1 ported as far as it can go,titanum valves, carrillo rods 162mm lightend crank and knife cut 50mm webers soon to be gone I'm going to a Jenvey fuel injection it has eltromotive crank fire ingnition 1 3/4 header to a merge colector into two borla type 3" muffers.
Trany was a Nissan direct drive 5 speed and I am in the process of installing a revese mount starter bellhousing and a Saenz transmissiom with a CF drive shaft. The car before the switch weight was 1638 no driver."

"Not enough, I blame the header, I had a guy who said he would do it right and he made the rear two clyinders pipe with too tight of turns so the engine is not realy running as a teem. The answeer to you question is 212 at the rear wheels 166 lbs torqe. this same moter made 232 at 169 in the tub car with a stall raised floor header. So I have to do the header over and I hoping to go to fuel injection that should bring the # up a bit.
    John"

"The rear set up is a very modified true trailing arm made from bmw 2002 parts,I can adjust toe and camberwith ease . 77 320i roters Wilwood calipers. I use 320i diffs 4 pack clutch and I did the ramps at 30 degrees I have 345,364,390,411,427,437,444,475 to pic from."

    Front suspension

New sequential transmission and carbon fiber drive shaft.......
