The guy's name is apparently Jorgen Andersson. The pics are from his photobucket site. (Sadly there's no build-thread or other tech info there.)

Thanks for the link Tom. From the coil overs and the 5 lug hubs in the first photo I'd say we're definitely looking at a 5 lug conversion running e39 wheels. Man it looks good so I'd love some details...... I have to agree with Kurt I think there are going to be intercooler issues when the motor starts to torque over. He has cut the section out for the radiator mount but tied the front back together with a piece of square tubing. Can't see it working like that......at all!

^ All the link states that they adapted a 7 series strut. What was needed for the 7er parts to fit? modification? Either way that M2 looks nice!

mmmm widebody... drool!! looks great!!
Harv, are those the "box style fenders" that they sell at ireland engineering?
I like how you have smoothed out the tail end.
Well done
No,
They were from a company called TurboGlass that burned down in the late 70's. All the molds were destroyed in the fire. They are rumered to be a copy of some sort of German flare that was widely used way back in the day. My set came from my friend Jeff that used to own the White and Green car. They were a backup set for that car. When he sold that o2 to buy his 308GTSi he got beat up on the price pretty badly. He gave me the spare set.
You might be able to get them from Cahsel in Germany.

HHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCeeeeeeeeeeeelllle nt! Car looks great!
Meaning EXCELLENT!
That Inka Orange w/ Body kit rocks. Nice Job!
^^^
I love that color. I wonder why we can't buy a new 3 series in that color. LOL
It's supposed to be Colorado and in some lights it is. The sealer was tinted and thus the slightly darker than Colorado but way lighter than Inka color it is.

I love these cars, I just don't have a garage to put it in. Or money to buy one. Anyway, here's a couple shots of the 2002 at Concours BMW in Milwaukee.
Is my helmet big enough?
just saw that 02 this week at Concours looks like origional paint nice used patina, I'd be hard pressed to decide, freshen it up or leave as is.
Touring look for it to sport box flares in the future. Eventually an M42/M44.
